Very good food in a 'for locals' restaurant in Bagan, the city of 4000 temples.
In Myanmar is extremely easy to befriend other western turists since there are so few of them. We met Carl at the airport in Yangoon and we spent most of the time in Bagan together.
He was on an interesting mission of his own: visit all the places where he was told not to go to prove that, in fact, they were not that bad. He might have had it wrong with Myanmar though. Check out his blog!
